Connect NoteFit to ChatGPT
Once connected, ChatGPT sees your athletes and your plan and writes into them — creating the block, the weeks and the sessions without you leaving the chat. You connect once and it stays.
Connect in four steps
Open ChatGPT’s connectors
In ChatGPT’s settings, look for Connectors and the option to add one. Exactly where that sits moves from time to time and depends on your plan — if you cannot find it, ChatGPT’s own documentation says where it is in the version you have.
Paste the NoteFit address
It is the only value you need. There is no key to generate and no extension to install: the address is the connector.
https://notefit.app/api/mcpSign in and approve
ChatGPT opens NoteFit for you to sign in. An approval screen names who is connecting and what they are asking for — reading your training, and writing to it. You can untick writing and connect read-only.
Ask it something
From here ChatGPT has the tools. Start small: ask for this week’s summary before you ask it to create a block.
The connector also answers ChatGPT’s own search
Alongside the training tools, NoteFit exposes the two search operations ChatGPT uses in its research mode. In practice that means it can look inside your training data when you ask something open-ended, instead of making you name the athlete and the week before it will start.
It is not a different tool and it is not more permission: they are the same reads, under the names ChatGPT expects to find. A read-only connection stays read-only.
How to ask without getting lost
The common mistake is asking for everything in the first message. These assistants do better with one request at a time while they still do not know your data: first "list my athletes", then "show Sofia’s weekly volume", and only then "create her a 5-week block".
Once it has seen your roster once, in the same conversation, you can ask for whole tasks. And because a block is created in one go — or fails entirely — a big request that goes wrong does not leave half a plan written.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay anything on NoteFit to connect ChatGPT?
No. The connector is part of the account, not an add-on. What you need is a NoteFit account and a ChatGPT where you can add connectors — that part depends on your plan on ChatGPT’s side, not ours.
Is this different from a custom GPT?
Yes. A custom GPT is a configuration of instructions; a connector is an authenticated link to your account, with tools that read and write real data. It is the difference between an assistant that can talk about your training and one that changes it.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, under Account → Connected apps, at any time. The connection disappears on the NoteFit side and ChatGPT loses access.
Can ChatGPT import my roster?
It can. Paste the CSV into the chat and it creates every athlete at once; the rows are independent, so the valid ones are created even if others are malformed, and the failures come back with their row number and the reason.
